Defining styles: Headers

Defining styles: Headers

Headers are one of the most used elements when building a website.

If you want to speed up the construction of your website and make it easier to edit, you should make the headlines on your website persistent as soon as possible. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to do this and the benefits that come with it.

How do headers' predefined styles work and why should you use them?

For your website to be professional and beautiful to look at, all H1-H6 headings on it should have a fixed size and style.
However, you don't need to edit the appearance of each header separately.

All you need to do is define the header styles - you can do it in the Styles tab while creating the UI Kit for your website. For each heading from H1 to H6, you can choose a constant:

  • Size
  • Color
  • Type of font

Headers different from the predefined styles

By setting headline styles, you will change the appearance of all headings on your website to match the styles you set.
If you decide that you want to change the appearance of several headings (to be different from the Styles Tab), you can do so by clicking on the header and editing it individually by Widget Styles.

Defining header styles:

1

Select the Styles icon on the left sidebar.

2

Select one of the H1-H6 header tags.

3

For each type of header, you can define the style of size, color and font type.

4

Click Save to save your styles!

(From now your styles will be automatically used for every header on your domain).
